Overview

Smart Amto Automated RFID Gate Identification System

The Smart Amto Automated RFID Gate Identification System is a complete infrastructure solution that automatically identifies trailers, vehicles, RFID seals and other tagged assets as they enter or exit warehouses, distribution centers, factories, ports and logistics facilities. As a vehicle approaches the gate, vehicle detection sensors trigger the RFID reader array to identify all tagged assets — trailer ID, vehicle tag, RFID seals — in a single pass at normal driving speed. The edge controller processes the read events, validates them against expected transactions and delivers the results to the customer's WMS, YMS, TMS or ERP system via REST API or MQTT. Gate-control outputs trigger barriers, LED indicators and traffic lights based on configurable rules. The system is scalable from a single inbound/outbound lane to multi-gate, multi-site networks managed through the Smart Amto cloud portal.

Key Benefits

  • Full-lane RFID identification — trailers, vehicles and seals identified in a single pass
  • Vehicle detection sensors trigger reads automatically — no driver action required
  • Edge controller processes events locally — sub-second gate response
  • REST API and MQTT delivery to WMS, YMS, TMS, ERP and access-control systems
  • Gate-control outputs for barriers, LED indicators and traffic lights
  • Weatherproof equipment enclosures for outdoor gate installations
  • Offline event buffering — no reads lost during network interruptions
  • Scalable from single lane to multi-gate, multi-site networks
  • Remote management, monitoring and diagnostics via Smart Amto cloud portal
  • Professional installation, commissioning and integration support
